Role & responsibilities

1. Economic Research

* Conduct detailed research across 100+ industries (agriculture, manufacturing, technology, energy, defence, services, etc.)

* Analyse GDP contributions, productivity trends, job elasticities, and investment multipliers

* Convert research into clear, structured notes for book chapters

2. Statistical Modelling & Forecasting

* Build and operate models such as VAR, VECM, SVAR, ARIMA/SARIMA

* Forecast long-term GDP, employment, consumption, capital formation, and productivity

* Conduct policy-impact simulations and econometric modelling

* Perform panel data analysis, cointegration tests, causality tests, and inputoutput analysis

* Experience with CGE/DSGE models is preferred

3. Data & Technical Skills

Proficiency in:

* R (forecast, vars, plm, urca) - (Optional Skill)

* Python (statsmodels, scikit-learn, Prophet, NumPy, Pandas) - (Optional Skill)

* Stata - (Optional Skill)

* MATLAB/Octave - (Optional Skill)

* Advanced Excel (Power Query, Solver) - ( Mandatory)

* EViews (preferred)

* Spark/Hadoop - (added advantage)

4. Policy Analysis

* Evaluate sectoral policies across labour, taxation, trade, innovation, and industry

* Conduct long-term impact and cost-benefit analyses

* Support policy recommendations with strong data

5. Writing & Content Development

* Convert complex analysis into clear written content

* Draft book chapters, policy summaries, charts, tables, and visual data representations

* Maintain writing consistency with the Chairmans narrative vision

6. Collaboration

* Work directly with the Chairman (Author & Project Architect)

* Coordinate with editors, designers, and subject specialists

* Ensure factual and numerical accuracy across the book.
