Position: Category B2B Marketing & Demand Generation Head - Innovative Building Solutions

Role:

• Lead B2B marketing function and Business Development for creating brand positioning and brand affinity for one of the key Categories of the Company by driving B2B Marketing, market development, influencing B2B stakeholders and building a strong demand generation engine.
• Grow the market for the Products of the Company in the B2B segment by creating a premium position in the market for the products and the Corporate brand.
• Excellent category and customer understanding in the market across all customer groups.
• Own the business growth of the category through strong lead generation and conversion.
• Responsible for market research & product development along with continuous process improvement.
• Lead stakeholder mapping and engagement strategies.
• Establish thought leadership to position the innovative building solutions of the company as the preferred construction solution.
• Build compelling content ecosystems including case studies and solution narratives.
• Strategize and devise a comprehensive communication plan to position and build the brand across all customer groups.
• Overseeing both digital and non-digital communication channels to create awareness for the brand.
• Own and optimise B2B Marketing investments with a strong ROI focus.
• Drive impactful events, activations and engagement platforms.
• Responsible for new product / solutions development by identifying market potential, ensuring product development and product evaluation in market. Create a business plan to test launch and finalize on the business plan for solutions launch.
• Responsible for competition analysis & benchmarking in similar and substitute markets. Tracking performance and volume generation of competitor's products.
• Responsible for product benchmarking by evaluating competitions products, developing benchmarking tools, providing benchmark reports to sales team. Conceptualising product improvement plans based on benchmarking result.
• Responsible for team leadership and people development.

Requirements:

• BTech + MBA/ BArch.
• 12 - 20 yrs of experience in Marketing, from Industries like Consumer Durables/Building Materials/ Automotive/ Paints/ Lighting/ Consumer Goods/ Construction Chemicals etc.
• Should have good experience in B2B Marketing Category Management, and experience in building a strong demand generation platform.
• Proven ability to build and influence stakeholder ecosystems.
• Should have good experience in Category creation and acceleration.
• Knowledge and relevant experience of digital and database marketing experience.
• Should be good at Relationship Building and working along with other stakeholders.
• Should have good oral and written communication skills.
• Leadership and team-building capability.
• Work history should exhibit job stability.
