Job Description
- Strong knowledge in migrating on-premise DB to AWS
- Develop migration strategy using AWS tools
- Responsible for designing enterprise data management framework, data security, and compliance.
- Focus on designing and implementing data management frameworks and Data management,
- Infrastructure management, Security, Database migration & Data warehousing.
- Should possess strong strategic thinking and data modelling skills, while data engineers often have more hands-on experience with programming languages, data pipelines, relational databases, and NoSQL databases.
- Where needed come up with explore solutions with newer technologies and build POCs for proposed solutions on AWS.
- Responsible for designing frameworks and policies governing how data is collected, stored, and managed within an organization.
- Ensure the overall suitability and fit of designs, schemas, and pipelines with regards to data coverage, functionality, scalability, and usage patterns to include workflow automation, analytics, asynchronous event notifications, and streaming.
- Guide team to develop prototype, refine layouts and exports to stakeholder as per the requirements.
- Experience in Design of data pipelines using cloud based ETL tools and using programming languages like Python.
- Experienced in connecting with relational, IBM iSeries, SaaS Products like Salesforce and populating data into a cloud-based data warehouse like Snowflake or Databricks
- Interact with end-users and translate business requirements into technical requirements.
- Develop data strategy and architect to meet client requirements.
- Design conceptual and logical data models to support the business requirements.
- Working with Git, Confluence & JIRA

Qualifications :
- Strong knowledge on Python or similar scripting language used to develop AWS Lambda / Glue scripts.
- Strong knowledge on RDBMS concepts
- Experience in designing multi-tenant database (especially Snowflake)
- Exposure to ETL tool likes IICS, etc.
- Experience of working with Onsite-Offshore team and experience of representing the offshore team to the customer.
- Experience in database security compliance and scalability.
