Guitcom - Assistant Manager - Strategic Finance & Research

Role Overview:
We are seeking an Assistant Manager with a strong foundation in Financial Due Diligence (FDD) or Transaction Services to support a combination of FP&A, deal advisory, and financial research engagements.
This is a hands-on analytical role that requires strong financial statement skills, commercial understanding, and the ability to work across a range of assignments. The role offers varied exposure to fast-paced, international engagements within a niche consulting firm.
Candidates will be expected to:
- Undertake financial analysis, modelling, research, and transaction support across a range of FP&A, deal advisory, and strategic finance engagements.
- Produce high-quality deliverables, communicate complex findings clearly and confidently, and maintain a rigorous approach to accuracy, detail, and independent thinking.
Skills & Aptitude:
- Strong financial statement analysis skills.
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling capabilities.
- Strong analytical ability and commercial judgement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to synthesise large volumes of information into clear and actionable insights.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to guide and lead a team of analysts.

Experience:
- 4 - 7 years of experience in Financial Due Diligence, Transaction Services, Deal Advisory, Corporate Finance, FP&A, Equity Research, or related fields.
- Experience working on M&A transactions, business reviews, or transaction support assignments would be valuable.
- Exposure to international clients, global businesses, or cross-border engagements would be advantageous.
- Experience preparing detailed analytical reports and presenting findings to senior stakeholders.
Candidates with a background in Transaction Services, FDD, Deal Advisory, Corporate Finance, or similar backgrounds who are looking for broad-based learning beyond transaction execution into broader strategic finance, business analysis, and research-oriented work.
Candidates should be comfortable working across multiple domains and willing to develop expertise beyond their primary area of specialisation.
