Job Description
- As a Senior Software Engineer focusing on JavaScript/TypeScript/React, you will play a vital role within our development team, tasked with the design, construction, and upkeep of TV SDKs. An ideal candidate should possess a proactive problem-solving approach, a dedication to clean code, robust architecture, and a commitment to staying abreast of the latest web development trends.
Your responsibilities will include SDK Development, involving the design, development, and maintenance of JavaScript-based SDKs for seamless integration with Smart TV platforms such as Samsung Tizen, LG webOS, Android TV, Roku, and more. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating comprehensive documentation for the SDKs, encompassing installation guides, usage instructions, and best practices for developers.
In the realm of Testing and Quality Assurance, you will be tasked with developing and executing unit tests, integration tests, and compatibility tests to ensure the reliability and stability of the SDKs across a variety of Smart TV platforms. Furthermore, you will oversee Version Management and Updates, ensuring version control and maintaining backward compatibility while releasing updates and new versions of the SDKs.
Bug Fixing and Troubleshooting will also be a crucial aspect of your role, involving the identification and resolution of issues related to the SDKs. Collaborating closely with support teams, you will troubleshoot and rectify customer-reported problems. It is essential to stay current with Smart TV Trends, keeping yourself informed about the latest developments in Smart TV platforms, APIs, and technologies, and actively integrating relevant advancements into the SDKs.

The Requirements for this position include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). You should have proven experience as a Software Engineer specializing in JavaScript, TypeScript, and React, with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience. Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, along with a deep understanding of the React ecosystem, is essential. Experience working with Smart TV platforms and their development tools and SDKs is also required, including platforms like Samsung Tizen, LG webOS, Android TV, Roku, etc.
You should possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex issues on Smart TV platforms. Proficiency in using version control systems, especially Git, is a must. Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes is beneficial. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential, as you will be working effectively in a team environment. Lastly, a passion for creating innovative solutions for Smart TV platforms and a drive to stay informed about industry trends will be highly valued in this role.,
