CloudHealth by VMware is looking for a Partner Billing Operations Analyst to join a growing team in a supportive and dynamic environment with a focus on continual learning and growth for our team members. This role is crucial to our ability to create a customer-first experience and will have the opportunity to guide the creation of accurate and timely workflows and the delivery of improvements in our integrated financial systems with business partners, financial colleagues and engineers.
Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?

• Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency & drive scalability; provide frictionless onboarding, improved billing experience, streamlined customer FAQ, refined SLA’s, and an operational playbook.
• Build scalable billing and collection processes for complex user agreements and new business operations
• Manage communication and partner with cross-functional teams including customer success, internal systems, deal desk, sales ops, internal audit, go-to-market, legal, and finance to develop and improve processes for contract reviews and to anticipate changing business requirements
• Partner with account managers to solve user inquiries related to billing, and collections
  
  

What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?

• Review and interpret complex pricing contracts, determine pricing structure procedures and help drive data management/governance of our contract information and pricing calculation.
• Build-out analytics & reporting to measure success through KPI’s and provide visibility to leadership on a weekly, monthly, or quarterly basis.
• Prepare recommendations for refunds, discounts, and credit memos requested by the organization.
• Review prepared monthly billing schedules for accuracy and completeness for our customers during month-end close.
• Assist with accurate tax billings (sales tax, VAT, etc.)

  Assist with system implementations for billings and collections
• Assist with monthly and quarterly flux analysis of key metrics
• Assist with internal and external audit support
• Business owner of our billing roadmap; partner with Product Managers to help design, support, and upgrade tools to improve customer experience & operations.
