Job Description
- As a Senior Engineer / Principal Engineer / Technical Lead at our company in Ahmedabad, you will be responsible for various technical and other tasks to ensure the successful development and delivery of Embedded systems based on customer needs. Your key technical responsibilities will include understanding and writing requirements, effort estimation, architecting Embedded systems, designing and developing systems, reviewing designs and source code, troubleshooting, and ensuring on-time delivery of quality deliverables.
In addition to the technical aspects, you will also have other responsibilities such as customer interaction, providing value addition to customers, defining technical training, and mentoring team members. Your area of expertise should include excellent programming skills in C, Linux Kernel programming, device driver embedded systems experience, board bring up experience, understanding of various processor architectures like Cortex-A series, ARM series processors, and general-purpose microcontrollers.
To excel in this role, you should possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, good debugging skills, hands-on experience with coding and tools, and working experience with bare metal, RTOS, and device driver development. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, and direct customer interaction, particularly with US or Europe-based clients, will be an added advantage. You should be able to write high-quality, efficient, extensible, and maintainable code in a fast-paced Agile environment, participate in feature and design discussions, evangelize and inform through design documents, conduct peer-reviews, review code, develop documentation and capacity plans, and debug complex problems live on innovative IoT devices.
