Voltas - Assistant Manager - Treasury

1. Cash Flow & Liquidity Management:
- Manage day-to-day cash flows to ensure timely vendor payments and optimal fund utilization.
- Monitor liquidity positions and maintain adequate cash balances across accounts.
2. Investment & Borrowing Portfolio Management:
- Discussion with banker and fintech on various borrowing proposal and prepare comparative analysis for discussion with Treasury lead.
- Exposure various trade finance option including but not limited to bill discounting, vendor financing, SBLC, CP etc.
- Manage and optimize the companys investment portfolio to ensure maximum returns.
- Evaluate various short-term and long-term investment opportunities in line with company policies.

3. Foreign Exchange (FX) Risk Management:
- Monitor and manage foreign exchange exposures across the business.
- Execute and track hedging strategies to mitigate currency risks.
- Prepare weekly MIS for hedge and unhedged exposure.
4. Commodity Hedging Evaluation:
- Support Treasury lean in Analysing commodity price exposures and evaluate appropriate hedging strategies.
- Support business teams with insights on cost optimization through hedging mechanisms.
- Prepare MIS for commodity hedging.
5. Treasury Operations & Controls:
- Ensure adherence to treasury policies and internal controls.
- Coordinate with banks and financial institutions for treasury-related transactions.
6. Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with internal teams (Finance, Procurement, Business Units) for cash planning and exposures.
- Engage with banks, financial institutions, and advisors for treasury operations.
7. Statutory Audit:
- Preparation of Statutory audit schedules of all treasury operations.
- Discussion and Resolution of statutory auditor.
- Provide data to Internal auditor and discuss the observation if any.
