Software Development Engineer In Test (QA Automation)

Why This Role Matters
We are looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test to work in the Call Center as a Service (CCaaS) Technology Team. In this role, you will be working with the wider QA team to define and implement our automation strategy. You will be key to shifting quality left in the development lifecycle, allowing us to maintain continuous, zero-downtime releases.
Your Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to product improvement beyond testing code by actively caring about the product and its users.
• Collaborate closely with Software Engineers to review code, provide feedback on testability, and drive comprehensive test coverage.
• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable test automation frameworks and tools.
  

What youll bring
Required

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field/ Or relevant experience.
• 4+ years of relevant experience in a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) or highly automated Test Engineer role.
• Excellent communication skills, including writing, speaking and listening, to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical people.
• Proven ability to design and implement end-to-end test automation frameworks.
• Strong understanding of software development principles, technical architecture, and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  

Experience We Consider a Plus

• Experience with security testing, load testing, and stress testing.
• Proven ability to responsibly utilize AI tools to enhance development productivity and quality.
• Direct experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform).
