Role Overview

The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) will be a key member of the leadership team, responsible for defining, driving, and executing the overall marketing vision for the brand in India. This is a highly strategic role, entrusted with shaping brand direction, strengthening market presence, and accelerating growth across digital, retail, partnerships, and experiential platforms within the luxury market.

The CMO will provide strategic guidance, ensure brand consistency, and build long-term equity while balancing creativity with commercial outcomes in a dynamic, premium retail environment.


Key Responsibilities


Marketing Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and lead the overall marketing strategy for India, aligned with business objectives, brand vision, and long-term growth plans.
  • Act as the custodian of brand positioning, ensuring a consistent, premium, and aspirational brand narrative across all touchpoints.
  • Guide the marketing roadmap across digital, retail, events, partnerships, and communications.
  • Build, mentor, and lead high-performing internal teams and external partners.

Digital & Social Media Marketing


  • Define and oversee the digital and social media strategy across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms.
  • Drive content marketing initiatives that reflect luxury aesthetics, storytelling, and brand values.
  • Oversee paid digital campaigns to drive awareness, engagement, traffic, and conversions.
  • Track trends, analytics, and consumer insights to continuously optimize performance and ROI.

Campaign Planning & Execution


  • Conceptualize and execute integrated 360-degree marketing campaigns for seasonal launches, retail milestones, and key brand initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with creative teams, agencies, and influencers to deliver impactful and differentiated brand messaging.
  • Ensure seamless alignment between marketing campaigns, visual merchandising, and in-store brand experience.

Brand Coordination & Strategic Partnerships


  • Manage and nurture relationships with global and regional luxury brand partners, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines and positioning.
  • Drive co-branded initiatives, exclusive launches, and strategic collaborations to enhance brand visibility and prestige.
  • Oversee all marketing communications to maintain a refined, consistent, and premium brand tone.

Events, PR & Experiential Marketing


  • Lead the planning and execution of high-profile brand events, boutique activations, private client engagements, and experiential initiatives.

    Partner with PR agencies to maximize visibility across luxury, lifestyle, and business media.
  • Ensure flawless execution of launches, collaborations, and experiential campaigns that elevate brand perception.

Qualifications & Experience


  • 1015+ years of experience in marketing leadership roles, preferably within luxury retail, fashion, lifestyle, or premium consumer brands.
  • Strong understanding of the Indian luxury market, consumer behavior, and evolving trends.
  • Proven experience in building and scaling brands through integrated marketing strategies.
  • Deep expertise in digital marketing, content strategy, social media, and brand storytelling.
  • Demonstrated success in leading large campaigns, events, partnerships, and multi-agency ecosystems.
  • Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, stakeholder management, and execution capabilities.
