Job Description
Role & responsibilities
- Inspect incoming sheet metal, coated components, and machined parts.
- Perform dimensional checks using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Identify surface finish issues, coating defects, scratches, dents, and other workmanship defects.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and dimensional tolerances.
- Prepare inspection reports and maintain quality records.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve quality issues and non-conformities
Preferred candidate profile
- Hands-on experience in incoming quality inspection of mechanical parts.
- Knowledge of mechanical drawings, GD&T, and tolerance analysis.
- Experience using precision measuring instruments.
- VMM/CMM knowledge will be an added advantage.
- Experience in mechanical, automotive, or electronics manufacturing.
