Job Description
- Manage overall production activities during the assigned shift.
- Achieve shift-wise production, quality and efficiency targets.
- Plan and allocate manpower across production lines/workstations.
- Monitor machine availability, production flow and minimize downtime.
- Ensure adherence to production schedules and reduce line stoppages.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Stores, PPC and HR for smooth operations.
- Monitor rejection, rework, wastage and productivity.
- Identify production issues and take immediate corrective actions.
- Maintain shift-wise production reports and performance records.
- Train and guide operators and team members.
- Ensure proper handover of production status and pending issues to the next shift.
- Support continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives.
