Vice President Business Operations

About the Role
We are looking for a Vice President - Business who will lead and scale our end-to-end service delivery function at WattMonk.

This is a high-impact leadership role where you will be responsible for driving operational excellence across all client-facing teams. You will oversee daily operations, ensure adherence to SLAs and TAT commitments, improve productivity metrics, and maintain high levels of client satisfaction. The role requires a strong execution mindset combined with strategic planning capabilities to support rapid business growth.

You will manage and mentor mid-level managers and team leads, ensuring accountability, performance discipline, and continuous improvement across teams of 50+ members. A key part of your role will be building scalable processes, optimizing workflows, introducing automation, and strengthening operational governance.

You will work closely with Product, Tech, Sales, and Customer Success teams to ensure seamless coordination between business commitments and delivery capabilities. You will also lead capacity planning, workload distribution, and performance tracking using data-driven insights.

This role reports to senior leadership and offers high ownership, strategic visibility, and the opportunity to build a structured, scalable operations engine within a fast-growing SolarTech organization.



What You will Be Doing
Operations Leadership (Owning the Engine of Delivery)
In this role, you will be the backbone of our service delivery operations.

• Lead and oversee day-to-day operations across all client-facing teams.
• Ensure we consistently meet internal SLAs, turnaround times (TAT), and quality benchmarks.
• Drive operational discipline across teams while maintaining high client satisfaction.
• Act as the single point of accountability for delivery performance across departments.

Your goal: Make operations predictable, scalable, and high-performing.

Performance & KPI Management (Driving Measurable Outcomes)
You will be responsible for building a data-driven operations culture.

• Define, track, and improve key metrics like TAT, SLA compliance, productivity, utilization, and quality scores.
• Identify performance gaps and implement corrective action plans.
• Build dashboards and reporting mechanisms for leadership visibility.
• Ensure teams are not just busy but productive and outcome-focused.

Your goal: Improve efficiency while maintaining quality and client trust.


Strategic Execution & Planning (Turning Strategy into Action)
This is not just a monitoring role its a strategic execution role.

• Translate company growth plans into operational capacity and resource plans.
• Lead workforce planning, shift management, and workload balancing.
• Anticipate scaling challenges and build processes that can support 2x3x growth.
• Contribute to long-term operational strategy in collaboration with leadership.

Your goal: Build an operations model that scales smoothly as the business grows.



Team Leadership & Culture Building
You will lead through managers and team leaders, not just individuals.

• Manage and mentor mid-level managers and team leaders.
• Conduct performance reviews, coaching conversations, and leadership development.
• Drive accountability, ownership, and high-performance standards.
• Build a culture of transparency, collaboration, and excellence in execution.

Your goal: Develop strong second-line leaders and reduce operational dependency on individuals.

Process Excellence & Automation
You will continuously optimize how work gets done.

• Identify operational bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
• Design and implement SOPs and workflow improvements.
• Introduce automation, tools, and technology enhancements to reduce manual effort.
• Ensure smooth rollout of new processes across teams.

Your goal: Make operations lean, structured, and scalable.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
Operations does not work in isolation you will be deeply cross-functional.
