About the Role:
We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Risk Analyst to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and mitigating potential risks in our lending operations, as well as designing effective risk policies and frameworks. Strong expertise in SQL is a must for handling large data sets and deriving actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze credit, operational, and portfolio risks across different products and business lines.

- Develop, review, and implement risk policies, processes, and controls in line with regulatory and business requirements.
- Monitor and evaluate borrower performance, repayment trends, and default risks using data-driven methods.
- Work closely with collections, product, and operations teams to align risk strategies with business goals.
- Prepare risk assessment reports and dashboards for management and compliance teams.
- Identify early warning signals, create scorecards/models, and provide recommendations to minimize exposure.
- Ensure compliance with RBI and NBFC regulatory requirements related to risk management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
- Advanced SQL skills (mandatory) - ability to write complex queries, optimize performance, and handle large datasets.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills.
- Knowledge of risk modeling, credit scoring, and portfolio monitoring is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data insights in a simple manner.
