Job Description

Role Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Relationship Manager to lead our Supply Chain Finance vertical, focusing on the SME and Mid-Corporate segments across Mumbai, Chennai, and Bangalore. In this capacity, you will act as a strategic partner to our corporate clients, designing bespoke working capital solutions that optimize their supply chain liquidity and operational efficiency. You will engage directly with CFOs, treasury heads, and business owners to structure complex trade finance facilities, while collaborating closely with internal credit, risk, and product teams to ensure seamless execution. Your work will be pivotal in driving the banks asset growth, deepening client relationships, and establishing our market leadership in the structured finance space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and expand a high-value portfolio of SME and Mid-Corporate clients by identifying their unique supply chain financing requirements to drive revenue growth.
  • Lead the end-to-end credit appraisal process, including detailed financial statement analysis and risk assessment, to ensure the delivery of high-quality, sustainable credit proposals.
  • Structure innovative trade finance and working capital products that address specific liquidity gaps within client supply chains, thereby enhancing client retention and wallet share.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including risk management and legal departments, to navigate complex deal structures and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Monitor portfolio performance proactively, identifying early warning signals and implementing corrective measures to maintain a healthy asset quality.

Required Skillset:

  • Demonstrate deep expertise in Supply Chain Finance and Trade Finance, with a proven ability to structure complex working capital solutions for diverse industry sectors.
  • Exhibit strong analytical capabilities in credit appraisal, with a keen eye for detail when evaluating financial health and business viability of Mid-Corporate entities.
  • Possess exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills, enabling you to build long-term relationships with senior stakeholders and influence decision-making at the CXO level.
  • Show a high degree of adaptability in managing a multi-city portfolio, with the ability to navigate the nuances of the SME and Mid-Corporate landscape across Mumbai, Chennai, and Bangalore.
  • Hold a professional degree such as an MBA from a premier institute or a CA qualification, complemented by 10 - 17 years of relevant experience in the banking or financial services sector.
  • Maintain a proactive, solution-oriented mindset, capable of working effectively in a hybrid environment while meeting aggressive business targets.
