As a Consultant Infrastructure & Operations (SAM), you will be responsible for...

• Software Asset Lifecycle Management: Owning end-to-end software asset lifecycle management from request, deployment, usage, optimization, and retirement. Maintaining accurate and audit-ready software inventories and entitlement records. Ensuring effective software normalization and reconciliations
• License Compliance & Audit Management: Ensuring ongoing compliance with software licensing agreements by identifying and remediating compliance gaps and over deployment risks
• Cost Optimization: Analysing software usage data to identify optimization and cost reduction opportunities, support contract renewals, license negotiations, and true-up planning with data-driven insights
• Tools & Data Management: Administering and operating SAM tools, ensuring data accuracy across systems, and report for license compliance, deployment, and spend visibility

  Maintaining and continuously improving SAM policies, standards, and operating procedures aligning with ISO/IEC 19770, ITIL and internal governance frameworks

What you already have...

• Bachelors degree in IT or Computer Science from Tier 1 Engineering institute
• 6+ years of hands-on experience in Software Asset Management
• Deep understanding of software licensing models and metrics (user, device, core, processor, subscription, BYOL, SaaS)
• Proven experience handling complex enterprise software estates and managing publisher audits independently
• Hands-on experience working with SAM tools such as Flexera, ServiceNow SAM Pro.
• Experience working on high-impact global projects, strategic initiatives, and change management initiatives
• Excellent communication and ability to work independently as an individual contributor and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
