Telesales Specialist- Education

• WhizzHR is hiring a Telecaller – Education and Test Preparation
• EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-Time

• JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for a confident and customer-focused Telecaller to support our education and test-preparation services. The candidate will be responsible for contacting prospective students and parents, explaining available courses, generating leads, following up on enquiries, and scheduling counselling sessions.

The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a professional telephone manner, and the ability to convert enquiries into potential student enrolments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Make outbound calls to prospective students and parents.
• Respond to incoming calls and enquiries regarding educational services and test-preparation courses.
• Explain courses and examinations such as SAT, IELTS, TOEFL, GRE, GMAT, UCAT and IMAT.
• Understand student requirements and share relevant course information.
• Generate and qualify leads through calls and follow-ups.
• Schedule appointments for student counselling and academic consultations.
• Follow up with prospective students to encourage enrolment.
• Maintain accurate records of calls, enquiries, follow-ups and lead status in the CRM.
• Coordinate with the counselling and academic teams.
• Achieve daily calling targets and monthly lead-conversion targets.
• Maintain professional communication with students and parents.
• Prepare regular reports on calls, leads, appointments and conversions.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous experience in telecalling, telesales, customer service or lead generation is preferred.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good command of spoken English.
• Ability to communicate professionally with students and parents.
• Strong persuasion, negotiation and follow-up skills.
• Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with CRM systems.
• Ability to manage multiple leads and maintain accurate records.
• Target-oriented approach with a positive attitude.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Experience in education, student counselling or course sales will be an advantage.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline is preferred.
• Experience in an education consultancy, training institute or test-preparation centre.
• Knowledge of international entrance examinations and English proficiency tests.
• Experience handling student enquiries and converting leads into enrolments.

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

The ideal candidate should be confident, proactive and comfortable making outbound calls. They should be able to understand student needs, explain educational services clearly, maintain consistent follow-ups and contribute to lead generation and student enrolment targets.
