Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven HR Data Analyst to focus on auditing HR data, ensuring accuracy, and delivering clear, actionable findings. This role is responsible for reviewing and validating workforce data, identifying discrepancies, and producing high-quality reports for stakeholders. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in maintaining data integrity, automating reporting processes, and consistently communicating insights through structured reporting and regular updates.
Key Responsibilities
Data Auditing & Validation
- Conduct regular audits of HR data across systems to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
- Identify data discrepancies, gaps, and anomalies; investigate root causes and recommend corrective actions.
- Partner with HR and IT teams to resolve data quality issues and strengthen data governance practices.
- Maintain audit documentation, standards, and procedures to support compliance and data integrity.
Reporting & Deliverables
- Create, update, and maintain recurring and ad hoc HR reports for stakeholders.
- Develop standardized reporting templates and automate report generation where possible.
- Distribute scheduled reports via email and ensure timely delivery to key stakeholders.
- Track reporting requirements and manage reporting calendars to meet business needs.
Analysis & Findings
- Analyze audited data to identify trends, inconsistencies, and areas of concern.
- Summarize findings into clear, concise insights and actionable recommendations.
- Present audit results and reporting outputs to leadership and other stakeholders.
- Follow up on identified issues to ensure resolution and continuous improvement.
Dashboard & Report Development
- Build and maintain dashboards focused on data accuracy, completeness, and key metrics.
- Ensure reporting tools and dashboards reflect validated and reliable data sources.
- Improve usability and accessibility of reports for non-technical audiences.
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with HR teams to understand reporting needs and data definitions.
- Act as a point of contact for data-related inquiries, audits, and reporting requests.
- Communicate findings, issues, and updates clearly through email and presentations.
Technology & Process Improvement
- Support enhancements to HR systems that improve data capture and reporting efficiency.
- Identify opportunities to automate data audits and reporting workflows.
- Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and security standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Strong experience with HRIS platforms and data auditing processes.
- Advanced Excel and data manipulation skills; SQL preferred.
- Familiarity with data validation techniques and reporting automation.
Soft Skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Excellent written communication skills, particularly for email reporting and documentation.
- Ability to translate data findings into clear, actionable insights.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to manage recurring deliverables.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in data Analytics, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Prior experience in core HR function would be an advantage.
- 5+ years of experience in HR data analysis, reporting, or data auditing roles.
- Proven experience auditing data and producing recurring reports.
- Strong understanding of HR data structures, systems, and reporting requirements.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
