Job Description

The AI & Backend Developer will be responsible for designing and implementing AI-powered chatbot systems using Microsoft Azure. Your role will involve developing robust backend architectures, integrating AI models such as OpenAI and open-source LLMs, deploying scalable API infrastructures, and ensuring security and compliance. You should possess expertise in LLM integration, backend development, cloud infrastructure, and AI-powered conversational systems within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.
Your key responsibilities will include developing and integrating AI-powered chatbots using OpenAI API and open-source LLMs within Azure AI services. You will implement Langchain-based AI pipelines for conversation workflows, optimize open-source LLMs for domain-specific use cases, and develop a hybrid AI approach combining OpenAI API with fine-tuned models hosted on Azure infrastructure. Ensuring scalability, efficiency, and high availability of AI-powered services will also be a crucial aspect of your role.

In addition, you will design and implement RESTful APIs using FastAPI, Flask, or Node.js to enable chatbot functionalities. Developing secure API endpoints for LLM interactions, integrating vector databases on Azure, and optimizing API performance for real-time chatbot responses will be part of your responsibilities. You will also deploy AI services and backend applications on Microsoft Azure, manage cloud and databases, and ensure security, compliance, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
The ideal candidate for this position should have expertise in AI model development, LLM-based chatbot integration, experience with OpenAI API and open-source LLMs, backend development skills in Python or Node.js, cloud experience in Microsoft Azure, database management skills, and proficiency in containerization technologies. Familiarity with authentication and security best practices, problem-solving abilities, and strong documentation skills are also required.
Preferred qualifications include prior experience in developing AI-driven enterprise applications on Microsoft Azure, multi-modal AI applications, and a strong understanding of AI model bias mitigation, ethics, and compliance.
