About The Job
We are looking for a Accounting Team Lead to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will have the ability to lead a team of analysts, ensuring their work is accurate and completed on time to meet the 10-business-day closing deadline. Additionally, the candidate should be capable of independently determining the appropriate accounting treatment for new transactions or events as they arise.
Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to month-end and year-end close accounting and financial reporting
• Prepare/review journal entries, reconciliations, and General Ledger accuracy
• Supervise accounting team members by assigning tasks, reviewing their work and providing guidance on complex issues
• 
  Apply technical accounting expertise to evaluate new transactions and determine appropriate accounting treatment in line with GAAP
• Prepare financial reports and other special management reports
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal policies
• Identify process gaps and implement control improvements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Treasury, Ops, IT)
• Coordinate with auditors and manage audit deliverables
  

Requirements
Required Education:

• Graduation or Post-Graduation in Accounting / Intermediate Chartered Accountancy (Inter-CA)
  

Required Experience:

• 5 to 10 years of experience in accounting
