Structural Design Engineer

Role & responsibilities

The incumbent will be part of Design Team under Civil & Structural Division and shall be working on Accredited Checking (Peer Review) jobs for the projects in Singapore. You shall be stationed in Bangalore and perform design, modelling and analysis of Structural system for buildings and infrastructure projects undertaken by the Company. As a team member, the brief role includes (for Singapore projects):

• preparation of structural calculations
• structural analysis, modelling and design using software & manual (wherever required)
• perform technical review of analysis

• project delivery as per time schedule with budget and quality
• perform design as per relevant codes (IS/Euro/AS)
• co-ordination within the division and other consultants and stake holders

Preferred candidate profile

• Masters Degree in Structural Engineering

• Minimum 3 Years experience in Structural Design Consultancy for working on building & infrastructural projects
• Strong technical skills with proficiency in RCC.
• Exposure to tall structures and experience in ETABS software is must. Familiarity with Eurocodes or Other Codes is advantageous
• Knowledge on software viz., ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, STAAD and Microsoft Office.
• Should be able to work independently with minimum guidance and also a team player
• Good Written & Verbal Communication Skills in English
