Product Lead - BFSI

Description:

We are looking for a high-impact Lead Product Manager who has a proven track record of building products from 0 to 1 scaling them, and leading cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate must have strong analytical thinking, stakeholder management, and the ability to drive product vision in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

- Own the end-to-end product lifecycle from discovery, requirement gathering, and roadmap creation to delivery and iteration.

- Build products from concept to launch (01) with measurable business impact.

- Drive product strategy aligned with business goals, customer needs, and market trends.

- Collaborate closely with engineering, design, data, operations, and business teams to deliver high-quality product outcomes.

- Lead and mentor a team of product managers and analysts to ensure timely execution.

- Analyse product performance, define KPIs, and run experiments to optimise user experience and business metrics.

- Prepare product documentation, PRDs, workflows, and feature specifications.

- Manage stakeholder communication, align multiple teams, and present updates to leadership.

- Ensure seamless product delivery by prioritising features based on value, impact, and feasibility.

Requirements:

- 7 - 12 years of overall product management experience.

- Demonstrated experience in building products from scratch (01) and taking them to scale.

- Strong capability in leading teams and managing cross-functional stakeholders.

- Solid understanding of customer journeys, UX principles, and data-driven decision making.

- Experience working in digital-first or tech-driven environments (Fintech/Insurance domain preferred but not mandatory).

- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

- Prior experience in insurance / BFSI / financial products.

- Exposure to agile methodologies, experimentation frameworks, and customer-centric design.

- Understanding of regulatory and compliance aspects in financial services.
