Senior Product Manager

Description:

Responsibilities:

- Craft and execute the product strategy and roadmap for OEM and dealership-led motor insurance integrations, aligning with ICICI Lombard's digital-first vision.

- Lead end-to-end product development across hybrid integration models spanning web services, batch feed files (XML/CSV), and modern API-based frameworks.

- Leverage in-depth understanding of Indian Motor Insurance processes (policy issuance, renewals, endorsements, cancellations, claims data, and regulatory guidelines) to build accurate and compliant integration workflows.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, engineering, broker technology, data, and operations to design scalable, secure, and auditable integration solutions.

- Partner with brokers, OEMs, and dealerships to assess technology readiness, co-create data mapping frameworks, and enable seamless digital rollouts.

- Drive modernization initiatives to transition legacy feed-based systems to real-time, API-driven data exchanges while ensuring business continuity.

- Monitor and analyze product and integration performance metrics, using data-driven insights to improve automation, accuracy, and turnaround times.

- Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain audit trails across all data exchange and integration touchpoints in line with IRDAI requirements.

- Serve as a subject matter expert on the motor insurance domain and integration standards, guiding internal product and engineering teams.

Requirements:

- 5-10 years of demonstrated success in product management, preferably in motor insurance, insurtech, or automotive integration domains.

- Profound knowledge of Indian Motor Insurance, including Motor OD/TP, NCB, policy issuance, endorsements, claims processes, and compliance frameworks.

- Proven experience managing data integrations using batch feeds, SOAP/REST APIs, and data dictionaries.

- Experience working with brokers, OEMs, and dealership networks for technology-led product rollouts and onboarding.

- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills to align diverse internal and external partners.

- Analytical and data-driven mindset, adept at tracking KPIs and driving measurable outcomes.

- Familiarity with IRDAI data exchange standards, e-Vahan integrations, and other motor insurance compliance frameworks.
