Legal Executive

About the Role
We are looking for a legal executive to manage litigation matters and contract lifecycle while ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and organizational requirements. The role requires a proactive individual with excellent attention to detail, capable of managing relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, particularly external legal counsel.

Key Responsibilities
Contract Drafting & Management:
o Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs), Non Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), and vendor contracts.
o Ensure that contracts are in compliance with relevant laws and organizational standards.

Litigation Management
o Track and manage ongoing litigation cases, coordinating with external legal counsels as required.
o Prepare case briefs, legal notices, replies, and documents for court proceedings.
o Maintain an organized case tracker and provide regular updates.

Legal Advisory:
o Advise internal teams on legal risks, rights, and obligations under existing laws and contracts.

Due Diligence & Risk Assessment:
o Assist with due diligence processes and risk assessments related to ongoing or upcoming business transactions.

Requirements

Experience:
o 14 years of hands-on experience in litigation management and contract drafting/review.
o Practical knowledge of civil, commercial, and corporate law.

Skills:
o Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
o Strong understanding of e-commerce, logistics, or corporate laws is highly desirable.
