Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for water utility software solutions.
- Identify new business opportunities and establish relationships with water utilities, municipalities, and government agencies.
- Client Engagement:
- Conduct client presentations, product demonstrations, and solution workshops.
- Understand customer pain points and propose tailored solutions to meet operational and regulatory needs.
- Pipeline Management:
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline using CRM tools.
- Track and report on sales performance, forecasts, and market trends.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with product, marketing, and technical teams to ensure alignment on customer requirements.
- Provide feedback to product development teams based on market insights.
- Contract Negotiation:
- Lead proposal development, pricing discussions, and contract negotiations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in B2B software sales, preferably in water utilities or public infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of water utility operations, regulatory compliance, and digital transformation trends.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

- Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics.
- Knowledge of water management software, SCADA systems, IoT solutions, or GIS platforms.
- Experience working with government tenders and RFP processes.
