ATHARVA FOUNDRIES PVT. LTD.is a leading producer of high-quality S.G. Iron castings, committed to excellence in production, quality, and safety.
We are seeking a diligent and proficient Computer Operator to join our dynamic team and support our production and administrative operations.
Location
MIDC Wai Dist-Satara State-Maharashtra
Key Responsibilities
· Data Management: Accurately record and manage daily production data, including melting, molding, quality control, and dispatch metrics.
· Reporting: Generate daily, weekly, and monthly production and quality reports for presentation to management using MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
· System Operation: Operate and monitor relevant computer systems and software (e.g., ERP, production monitoring systems, or potentially TCS/ERP if applicable) used in foundry operations.
· Documentation: Maintain proper documentation and file management for all production activities, quality records, and operational procedures.
· Coordination: Coordinate with various departments (Production, Quality, Maintenance) to ensure smooth data flow and support efficient workflow.
· Inventory Support: Assist with data entry related to raw materials, consumables, and finished goods inventory management.
· Troubleshooting: Provide basic first-level troubleshooting for computer hardware/software issues in the office and production areas.
Qualifications and Experience
· Education: Minimum B.Sc. & B.C.A
· Experience: Minimum of 0-1 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, with a strong preference for experience in a foundry or steel/metal industry.
· Computer Skills:
o Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is essential.
o Familiarity with any specific foundry/ERP software will be an added advantage.
o Basic knowledge of computer hardware and network fundamentals.
· Skills: Strong attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, good communication skills, and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
