Position Title : Senior Research Analyst (Sector agnostic)
Work Experience : Minimum 4 years of work-exp.

Responsibilities :
Managerial Responsibilities:
- Product ownership for engaging with multiple stakeholders & understanding the regulations as per SEBI regulations for AIF fund management.
- Scale-up research capabilities of the associates to take ownership of products/client relationships.
- Mentoring associates towards improving overall relevance and quality of research.
Functional Responsibilities:
- Active and passive coverage on stocks/ peer group companies that form part of the portfolios including listening to calls of target company, peer group, to get a sense of tailwinds in the sector & market overview.
- Identifying new stocks to include in portfolio & supporting fund manager in portfolio construct, in-depth fundamental research with investment rationales, financial modelling, due diligence, coming up with high conviction ideas from the universe.
- Regular communication with sales team for engagement & training sessions for updates on market, fund performance & strategy.

- Ensuring that financial models are precise and robust to capture the various nuances and complexities of the sector dynamics & should be open to travel for site/plant visits & management meetings.
- Engagement with clients for detailed discussions on fund update & assisting business team for client meetings, should be open to travel.
Job Requirements:
- Qualifications: CA / CFA / MBA from a Reputed Institute
- Experience: 4+ years
Functional Competencies:
- Aptitude for quality research, ability to gauge the macro and micro trends - a holistic approach.
- Good understanding of investing frameworks, financial markets and interplay of all the factors that impact stocks/ valuations with understanding of macro environment as well.
- Ability to understand as well as communicate complex business developments in a simple and lucid manner, especially to the sales team.
- Modelling/ Valuation skills with good understanding of accounting and taxation laws.

- Active engagement with sell-side analysts & market participants, attending business conferences, management meetings, plant/site visits.
