JR Accountant (E -Commerce)

Salary: Up to ?25,000 per month

We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support our finance team in managing day-to-day accounting activities. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in the e-commerce industry, strong knowledge of accounting principles, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Maintain books of accounts including sales, purchase, expense, and journal entries
• Handle accounts payable and receivable
• Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and customer ledgers
• Manage e-commerce transactions, marketplace settlements, and commission reconciliation
• Prepare GST-related data, including returns and compliance support
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records
• Coordinate with internal teams and external auditors when required
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and statutory regulations

• Bachelors degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Accountant in the e-commerce industry
• Good knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic taxation
• Proficiency in Tally, Excel, and accounting software
• Understanding of online marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart, etc.)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

• Experience in inventory accounting
• Familiarity with payment gateways and settlement reports
• Basic knowledge of MIS reporting
