Job Description
- As a Front End/UI Developer, you will be joining a team of exceptional application developers working on an enterprise-grade marketing analytics platform. This platform enables data management, data modeling (including machine learning and econometric based modeling), and the creation of dashboards showcasing structured and unstructured data.
In your new role, you will be responsible for developing Proof-of-Concept and prototype applications using new technologies and frameworks. You will collaborate with internal teams and clients to create innovative solutions. Additionally, you will help establish GUI best practices and JavaScript frameworks for web development, providing guidance for the integration and implementation of Front-End Interfaces.
Your tasks will include translating wireframes, comps, and functional requirements into functional HTML/CSS/JavaScript, developing standards-compliant markup and code for websites and applications, and creating JavaScript using standard Frameworks such as jQuery. You will also develop small to medium-sized custom JavaScript libraries for reuse across the application and provide technology and implementation expertise to the domain, projects, or clients.
To be successful in this role, you are required to have experience in SQL (1 year), expert JavaScript/HTML/CSS coding skills, and 2-4 years of professional experience. You should have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in JavaScript and 1 year of relevant experience in React.js. Hands-on experience with the implementation of different design patterns, development using Agile/SCRUM methodology, and command of web standards and cross-browser compatibility are essential.
You should also possess experience in optimizing web application performance, a good understanding of page rendering, DOM manipulation, caching, and REST API. Experience in Test-driven Development (TDD), working in a LINUX environment, and familiarity with technologies and frameworks such as D3.js, Node.js, Express.js, Elasticsearch, Graph QL, and Redis will be beneficial.
