General Manager - Finance - CA

Location: Delhi.

Experience: 3+ Years.

Qualification: CA.

Industry Preference: EPC / Infrastructure / Construction / Real Estate / Theme Parks.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy & Business Finance:

• Support the CFO in developing and executing the company's financial strategy and business plans.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making.
• Drive profitability improvement, cost optimization, and financial performance across business units.

Financial Planning & Analysis:

• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
• Monitor business performance against budgets and forecasts and provide variance analysis.
• Develop MIS, dashboards, KPIs, and management reports for leadership review.
• Analyze project-wise and business-unit-wise profitability.

Financial Reporting & Compliance:

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, tax, and financial reporting requirements.
• Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors, tax consultants, and other external stakeholders.

Project & Cost Finance:

• Monitor financial performance of EPC, construction, infrastructure, and other projects.
• Review project costing, revenue recognition, WIP, margins, claims, and cost overruns.
• Strengthen project financial controls and working-capital management.
• Partner with project and operations teams to improve financial efficiency.

Treasury & Cash Flow Management:

• Oversee cash-flow planning, liquidity management, banking operations, and working capital.
• Manage banking relationships, fund requirements, borrowings, guarantees, and other banking facilities.
• Monitor receivables, payables, collections, and cash conversion cycles.

Taxation & Risk Management:

• Oversee direct and indirect tax compliance and assessments.
• Identify financial and business risks and establish appropriate mitigation measures.
• Strengthen internal financial controls, policies, processes, and governance.
• Ensure compliance with applicable corporate and regulatory requirements.

Team Leadership:

• Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team across functions/business units.
• Build strong financial processes and performance-driven finance teams.
• Collaborate with HR, Procurement, Operations, Projects, Legal, and Business teams.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• 3+ years of overall experience with significant experience in a senior finance leadership role.
• Experience in EPC, infrastructure, construction, real estate, amusement/theme parks, or other project-driven businesses preferred.
