Accountant

Zahr Freighters, a trusted name in logistics and freight services, is seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Accountant to join our team in Dubai. Key Responsibilities

Manage daily accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger entries
Prepare and maintain financial reports, statements, and records in compliance with regulatory requirements
Handle bank reconciliations, expense reports, and cash flow management

Coordinate with internal departments to track freight costs and billing accuracy
Assist in audits, budgeting processes, and tax preparation
Maintain accounting documentation and ensure accurate filing for recordkeeping
Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for cost efficiency

Requirements

Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum 2 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably within the logistics or freight industry
Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial regulations in the UAE
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP systems)
High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

Strong analytical and communication abilities
Currently based in Dubai and available to join immediately
