IT/Digital Head - Sales Automation - Building Materials

Role Overview:

Our client is part of a large diversified organization in the Construction Materials sector (Paints, Cement, Cables, Wires) with a large distribution channel across India. They are looking for an IT/Digital Head to own their sales automation landscape.

What You Will Own:

• Product strategy and delivery: Lead the roadmap and delivery for Sales Automation, CRM, loyalty and dealer portal platforms, and use technology and AI to create measurable value for Sales and Marketing.
• Solution design, QA and team: Lead a team of product managers, technical leads and QA in an Agile setup, and review solution designs for feasibility, performance and usability.
• Analytics: Build dashboards and analytics that give the business real sales, channel and customer insights.
• Vendors, integrations and security: Manage vendors and SLAs, oversee integrations across systems, and partner with the CISO on security by design.
• Adoption and ROI: Drive rollout, training and change management across regions and channel networks, and track adoption, loyalty ROI and business impact.
• Stakeholder reporting: Present roadmaps, risks and resource plans to senior management and build buy-in across Sales, Marketing and IT.

Who You Are:

• 15+ years in IT, with 5+ years in Sales Automation as a Tech Head or Product Head.
• Strong experience leading and creating solutions on CRM (Zoho, Bizom, Salesforce), Distributor Management, and loyalty platforms (Capillary, Zeapl or similar) initiatives.
• 3+ years as a Product/Digital manager leading digital transformation across the full SDLC using Agile/Scrum.
• Working knowledge of APIs, middleware, cloud and data security.
• Proven change management and adoption record with sales teams; has managed teams and vendors.
• Influential communicator with a strategic mindset, who is also hands-on when needed.
• B.E./B.Tech (or equivalent); MBA preferred.
