Position Overview: The Business Development Executive will play a crucial role in driving growth by identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential customers, and promoting our content solutions. The ideal candidate is a proactive and enthusiastic individual with a strong understanding of the parenting sector and a passion for helping parents access valuable resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research, networking, and outreach to potential clients in the parenting domain.
- Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients, understanding their needs and how our solutions can support them.
- Sales Outreach: Identify and engage potential customers through various channels, including phone calls, emails, and social media.
- Sales Support: Assist in the preparation of sales presentations, proposals, and demonstrations to showcase our science-backed content offerings.
- Market Research: Conduct market analysis to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape to inform business development strategies.
- Analytics: Utilise data analytics to assess market performance, track customer engagement, and inform business development strategies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and content teams to align messaging and ensure consistent communication of our value proposition.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of business development activities, customer interactions, and sales pipeline using CRM software.
- Goal Achievement: Meet and exceed individual and team sales targets through effective prospecting, follow-up, and closing strategies.
- Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, preferably in B2C environments.
- Familiarity with the parenting sector and an understanding of the challenges faced by parents.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
