Blinkit - Manager - Business Finance

Role Overview:
The Manager of Store Operations Finance will serve as a critical link between the finance function and retail operations, ensuring fiscal discipline across our store network. You will be responsible for overseeing the financial health of individual store units, managing capital expenditure projects, and providing actionable insights to regional operations heads. By bridging the gap between operational activities and financial reporting, you will directly influence the profitability and efficiency of our retail footprint in Gurgaon.
Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee the end-to-end CAPEX lifecycle for new store setups and renovations, ensuring projects remain within budgetary constraints and meet ROI expectations.
- Conduct deep-dive financial analysis on store-level performance to identify cost-saving opportunities and revenue leakage.
- Partner with the operations team to monitor store-level P&L, providing regular performance reports and variance analysis to senior leadership.
- Manage the budgeting and forecasting process for store operations, ensuring alignment with the broader organizational financial strategy.
- Implement robust financial controls and audit processes across all store locations to ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling and CAPEX management, with a strong ability to manage multi-site retail budgets.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and bridge the gap between finance and non-finance teams.
- Ability to thrive in an on-site work environment in Gurgaon, maintaining high levels of engagement with field operations teams.
- Educational background in Finance or Accounting, such as a CA, MBA (Finance), or equivalent professional qualification.
- 4 - 6 years of professional experience in a business finance or operations finance role within the retail or FMCG sector.
