Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and administer Informatica BDM (Big Data Management) across environments.
- Manage user access, security, and role-based permissions.
- Perform patching, upgrades, and migration activities for Informatica services.
- Monitor and optimize ETL/ELT workflows for performance and scalability.
- Handle job scheduling, error handling, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and DevOps teams to ensure smooth integration with Hadoop/Cloudera, Kafka, RDBMS, and cloud platforms.
- Ensure data quality, compliance, and high availability of Informatica services.
- Provide production support and resolve incidents within SLA.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Informatica BDM, PowerCenter, and PowerExchange.
- Expertise in ETL/ELT pipeline development for batch and real-time ingestion.
- Knowledge of HDFS, Hive, Teradata, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Proficiency in performance tuning, CDC-based loads, and reusable ingestion frameworks.
- Experience with job scheduling tools (Control-M, Autosys, or similar).
- Solid understanding of RDBMS (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix administration and shell scripting.
