Zurich Kotak General Insurance - Deputy Vice President - Financial Reporting

Financial Reporting & Close:
- Lead end-to-end monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
- Ensure timely preparation and review of financial statements as per Ind AS and IRDAI guidelines
- Oversee general ledger integrity, journal entries, and reconciliation processes
Group Reporting & IFRS Alignment:
- Manage submission of group reporting packs (IFRS) to Zurich Group
- Ensure alignment between local books and group reporting requirements
- Drive consistency, accuracy, and timeliness in reporting deliverables
Regulatory & Statutory Compliance:
- Ensure timely submission of IRDAI returns and statutory financial statements
- Liaise with statutory auditors, internal auditors, and regulators
- Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulatory frameworks

MIS and Financial Insights:
- Generate MIS reports and financial dashboards for leadership
- Provide detailed financial analysis and actionable insights
- Support business teams with data-driven decision-making
Financial Controls & Governance:
- Ensure compliance with applicable SOX / IFC frameworks
- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies across reporting processes
Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with Actuarial (reserving, claims), underwriting, and reinsurance teams
- Present financial outcomes to senior leadership and group stakeholders
- Act as a finance partner across cross-functional initiatives
Team Leadership & Transformation:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team
- Drive automation, process optimization, and reporting standardization
- Support finance transformation initiatives and system enhancements
What are we looking for?:
Total Experience: 10 - 15 years
- Min 6 years of Financial Reporting & Ind AS / IFRS Expertise
- Insurance Accounting & IRDAI Regulations
