Job Description
- Drive new business through hardcore field sales for Air and Ocean Freight across Import and Export.
- Identify and acquire new customers while independently generating captive business.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships and understand their logistics requirements.
- Prepare proposals, negotiate commercial terms, and close new business opportunities.
- Coordinate with Pricing and Operations teams to provide suitable solutions to customers.
- Manage credit control and collections for the assigned customer portfolio.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and new business opportunities.
- Deliver a minimum business ROI of 3.5–4x of the CTC.
Candidate Profile
- 4–5 years of experience in core Field Sales/Business Development within International Freight Forwarding.
- Experience with leading freight forwarding companies and handling international freight.
- Proven track record of new customer acquisition and generating captive business.
- Strong preference for hardcore field sales profiles; not suitable for primarily Key Account Management, Customer Service, or Sales Coordination profiles.
- Candidates from primarily E-commerce or Domestic Freight backgrounds will not be considered.
- Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
