Purpose
This position is responsible in providing and coordinating administrative support across various roles of HR activities including areas of employee relations, compensation and benefits as well as MIS Reports at various stages in a regional role. Support the HR function in a highly volatile market with a multi-cultural workforce.
Education
  • Post Graduate in Human Resources from a reputed university.
Mandate Experience
  • At least 5+ years proven working experience in Payroll and benefits management.
  • Solid understanding of payroll best practices and fundamentals
  • Prefer candidates with experience working with multinational companies administering payroll and benefits for global teams.
  • Very good knowledge of legislation and regulations of the field.
  • Experience in a fast paced and diverse cultural environment with multinational companies in dealing with multi-locations and multi-cultural complexities.
  • Prefer Candidates with SAP experience in HR Modules.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll
  • Handson experience in payroll processing including liasoning with payroll vendors.
  • Ensure accuracy of payroll and employee data as well as timely payroll processing for all regions.
  • Responding to payroll-related enquiries and resolving concerns.
  • Handle monthly payroll related reports and work closely with Finance on for GL entries, bonus accrual, allocation cost etc.
  • Ensuring compliance on statutory contributions, annual tax filing and other submission requirements by respective authorities.
  • Assist with adhoc payroll related reports including annual internal and external audit requirements.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Maintaining and updating employee records on internal databases and HR systems to support employee life cycle activities such as staff movements, preparing employment contracts, benefit administration and workers’ compensation processing across all countries.
  • Preparation of documentations in relation to payroll and compensation such as final settlement letters, annual increment letters, ad hoc adjustments letters etc.
  • Working closely with local broker in relation to insurance and medical benefits including annual market review & renewal requirements.
  • Managing and administering for medical & insurance claim process as well as point of contact for addressing employee queries on benefits.
  • Providing support on ad-hoc reports related to employee compensation as well as market surveys.
  • Ensuring Compensation & Benefits practices are aligned with the respective regional compliance and market practices.
HR Support

    Assist in any other HR related matters or special projects.
  • Preparation of ad-hoc letters as requested by employees.
  • Participating in government survey
  • Administration of leave applications via ePortal
  • Conduct HR briefing for onboarding.
  • Assist on employment records related to hiring, transferring, promoting, and terminating.
  • Communicating on HR policies, procedures, laws, and standards to new and existing employees.
Required Skills
  • Payroll knowledge and expertise in the Employment Act and HR practices.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong knowledge of employment law on payroll matters.
  • Proficient in EasyPay Enterprise software.
  • Cross-cultural experience and understanding.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent analytical and presentation skills, including the ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • Ability to build strong and trusting relationships with team members.
  • Pleasant disposition, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to interact and deal with people at all levels and from various countries and cultural backgrounds.
  • Continuous learning mindset, high engagement, creative thinking, and resourcefulness.
  • Global and open mindset; collaboration and teamwork are essential to success in this role.
  • Willingness to go the extra mile and take on additional responsibilities and challenging roles.
