We are an insurgent brand with the discipline to scale, and we are now looking for a Plant Financial Controller to be the financial backbone of our manufacturing operations owning plant-level cost, compliance, and controllership as we grow.
Role Overview:
As the Financial Controller, you will serve as the primary steward of the companys financial health, overseeing all accounting operations, fiscal reporting, and regulatory compliance. You will work closely with the leadership team to translate complex financial data into actionable business insights that drive sustainable growth. This role is pivotal in establishing robust internal controls and optimizing capital allocation, ensuring that the organization remains agile and fiscally disciplined as it scales its operations in the competitive smart home sector.
Key Responsibilities:

- Direct the end-to-end accounting operations and financial reporting processes to ensure accuracy, transparency, and adherence to statutory requirements.
- Lead the annual budgeting and long-term financial planning cycles to align resource allocation with the companys strategic growth objectives.
- Design and implement rigorous internal control frameworks to mitigate financial risks and safeguard organizational assets.
- Manage all aspects of corporate taxation, including GST, TDS, and income tax filings, to ensure full compliance with evolving regulatory standards.
- Provide comprehensive financial analysis and performance dashboards to the board, highlighting key variances and opportunities for cost optimization.
- Oversee treasury functions, including cash flow management and working capital optimization, to support the companys operational liquidity needs.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated expertise in Financial Consulting and Financial Control, with a proven track record of managing complex financial environments for 10 to 20 years.
- Advanced proficiency in Budgeting and Financial Planning, with the ability to forecast market trends and their impact on operational costs.
- Strong technical command over Accounting standards and Taxation laws, ensuring seamless audit readiness and regulatory compliance.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to communicate intricate financial data to non-finance stakeholders and influence strategic decision-making.
- A professional qualification such as CA or CMA is preferred, complemented by a deep understanding of the financial nuances within the technology or hardware manufacturing sectors.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, on-site work environment in Bangalore, demonstrating the leadership maturity required to mentor finance teams and drive process improvements.
