Head - Operations (Pune)
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end manufacturing and commercial operations including production, supply chain, procurement, and logistics.
- Drive production planning in alignment with business demand and ensure timely availability of RM/PM for manufacturing schedules.

- Manage commercial production across own and third-party manufacturing facilities while ensuring efficiency, quality, and delivery targets.
- Oversee plant expansion, equipment commissioning, technology upgrades, and greenfield/brownfield project execution.
- Partner with R&D teams on process scale-up, technology transfer, and commercialization of new products.
- Drive operational excellence through process improvements, yield enhancement, cost optimization, and troubleshooting of manufacturing issues.
- Ensure compliance with QA/QC standards, cGMP, safety guidelines, audits, and certifications including Kosher, Halal, and Organic.
Requirements
- BE in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering from reputed institutes; MBA in Operations preferred.
- 15+ years of experience in operations and production management within nutraceuticals, food ingredients, natural extracts, or pharma sectors.
- Strong expertise in process scale-up, commercial manufacturing, and production management.
- Hands-on exposure to plant setup, equipment commissioning, and manufacturing expansion projects.
- Strong understanding of engineering, process optimization, quality systems, and compliance frameworks.
- Proven ability to independently lead operations, drive execution, and manage cross-functional stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel frequently and work closely with manufacturing sites.
