Job Description
Your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Develop and implement a strategic sales plan for the Central Asia region, driving business growth in target countries
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, agents, project developers, traders, and government institutions from the education and research sectors
- Identify and seize new market opportunities by establishing a strong network of representatives and business partners
- Guide and coach key accounts by demonstrating technical competence in explaining complex solutions
- Manage and strengthen existing customer relationships, ensuring consistent and high-level customer service and satisfaction
- Conduct regular face-to-face meetings with clients across Central Asia
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (Engineering, Marketing, Product Development) to tailor solutions to specific client needs
- Monitor competitor activities and provide strategic feedback to adapt sales strategies
- Engage in research, planning, and reporting to support data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement in sales strategies
- Provide detailed assessments and reports on market conditions, customer needs, and sales performance
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and policies, including contracts, import/export, and trade laws
To be successful in this role you should have the following skills and experiences:
- A completed degree in Engineering
- Proven experience in selling industrial or scientific products and systems that require a solid technical foundation
- Existing sales channel to clients from engineering education, research, or technical training
- Demonstrated experience in developing and executing sales strategies in international markets, particularly in emerging regions
- Extensive customer-facing experience with a proven ability to foster trust and build long-term partnerships with clients
- Fluency in English and Russian at a highly professional level is required
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Experience working with government institutions, research facilities, and academic clients is a plus
- Strong analytical skills and a systematic approach to planning, data quality, and reporting, ensuring structured and efficient sales activities
- Excellent flexibility and willingness to travel frequently across Central Asia
