Job Description
- As a Support Engineer in the Enterprise IT Platform organization, your main responsibility will be to support, implement, enhance, and improve EDI processes. You should possess deep technical knowledge in the EDI field and the ability to translate it into operational improvements, ideally with ITIL and logistics operations knowledge.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Handle and support the Babelway EDI platform along with other integration platforms.
- Develop and maintain operational EDI interfaces.
- Provide consultancy as a domain guide to internal customers and application management teams.
- Collaborate with Business & Internal/External customer/partner teams to identify requirements, implement interfaces, and ensure successful rollout.
- Support global EDI trading partners through various protocols such as X.400, AS2, VAN, FTP, SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, SOAP, EDIFACT, etc.
- Collaborate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of planned improvements.
- Establish appropriate stage-gate processes for new projects, track project metrics, and maintain accuracy.
- Perform other activities to achieve defined job objectives.
**Qualifications Required:**
- Hands-on experience with JSON/XML formats.
- Practical experience with the BabelWay platform is advantageous.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in the EDI area and trading hubs.
- Ability to define customer requirements and translate them into working EDI interfaces.
- Strong analytical, critical reasoning, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
- Good understanding of IT operational processes and structured ways of working.
- Knowledge of Oracle & Microsoft SQL is beneficial.
- Willingness to learn and excellent interpersonal, project management, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in English (verbal and written).

In addition to the technical qualifications, a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, a minimum of 3 years in IT, and hands-on experience with EDI mapping toolset are preferred qualifications that set you apart.
