About the Role

Futurense is launching a groundbreaking new vertical focused on upskilling tech professionals into Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs) - one of the fastest-emerging roles in modern engineering. As one of the top 5 founding members, you will play a pivotal role in building this academy from the ground up, influencing strategy, curriculum, and growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead high-quality consultative selling to tech professionals and drive the complete counselling-to conversion process.
2. Own the full learner acquisition funnel - awareness, counselling, nurturing, and enrollment.
3. Translate deep technical insights into strong, compelling product narratives for engineers and tech audiences.
4. Conduct extensive research on FDE roles, industry trends, tools, and workflows to refine product positioning and contribute to curriculum design.
5. Build trust-based, long-term relationships with tech learners and support community-building initiatives for the academy.

Must-Haves

1. 3+ years of experience in tech consultative selling or tech counselling to engineers/developers.
2. STEM degree (Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Data Science, etc.); Tech MBA preferred but not mandatory.
3. Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals, AI concepts, or modern developer workflows.
4. Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical ideas for clarity and influence.
5. High curiosity, a strong research drive, and the ability to break down technical concepts into simple narratives.
