Workshop Supervisor

Role & responsibilities

* Supervise daily maintenance and repair activities of ambulances and support vehicles

* Ensure maximum ambulance uptime and immediate response to breakdowns

* Plan and monitor preventive maintenance schedules

* Allocate work to mechanics and technicians based on priority and emergency needs

* Coordinate emergency breakdown support at any time (24/7 readiness)

* Inspect vehicles for roadworthiness, safety, and statutory compliance

* Maintain service records, job cards, and maintenance logs

* Coordinate with operations and control room teams to ensure ambulance availability

* Monitor spare parts consumption and coordinate with stores/vendors

* Handle vendor coordination for specialized repairs and AMC services

Preferred candidate profile

Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and ambulance systems

* Ability to prioritize work under emergency conditions

* Leadership and team management skills

* Problem-solving and quick decision-making ability

* Basic computer skills (MS Excel / fleet maintenance software)

* Good communication and coordination skills

* 24/7 operational environment

* On-call duty for emergencies

* Workshop and field-based work

Candidate should be willing to work anywhere in Chhattisgarh.
