Role Overview

We are looking for a high-caliber, technically sound Senior SAP BW-BI-IP Support Consultant with 4 to 8 years of operational capability. This position represents a business-critical hire within a premium compensation band. The role requires an active, quick-thinking specialist who can oversee system stability, manage technical data locks, and resolve complex transactional planning or reporting errors. Located in Bangalore, this full-time role follows a hybrid work model and demands a highly accelerated onboarding timeline.

Mandatory Technical Skills & Capabilities

SAP BI-IP (Integrated Planning) — Core Specialization

• Comprehensive operational knowledge of SAP Integrated Planning frameworks.
• Hands-on ability to configure, debug, and trace errors across Aggregation Levels, Planning Filters, and Planning Variables.
• Deep, demonstrable experience working with FOX Formulas (Formula Extension), planning sequences, and input-ready queries.
• Strong knowledge of concurrent data locking and conflict management using standard mechanisms like RSPLSE.

SAP BW (Business Warehouse)

• Advanced data warehousing modeling competencies using InfoCubes, MultiProviders, DataStore Objects (DSOs), InfoObjects, and advanced structural transformations.
• Extensive background monitoring, identifying runtime memory failures, and tuning critical production Process Chains.
• Strong familiarity with delta mechanisms, handling standard and generic ERP data extractions.

BEx Query Reporting

• Robust proficiency leveraging BEx Query Designer to evaluate, construct, and optimize analytical queries.
• Practical usage of calculated key figures, restricted key figures, structures, variables, and custom customer exits.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the L2/L3 escalation point for our mission-critical enterprise platforms governing global financial planning, forecasting, and operational analytics.
• Lead strict Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on repeating application bugs, drafting long-term technical code resolutions and configurations to keep systems fully optimized.
• Partner directly with corporate finance controllers and business users during high-pressure seasonal forecasting and annual budgeting cycles to ensure zero downtime.
• Execute system change governance protocols and handle safe transport migrations (STMS) into the live production workspace under tight SLAs.

Sourcing Strategy & Profile Filters

• Notice Period constraint: Profiles matching greater than 20 days notice cannot be accommodated due to immediate project dependencies. Candidates on an active official notice period, serving out a buyout, or currently available will receive immediate priority.
• Technical Filter: Shortlisted CVs must demonstrate definitive proof of hands-on execution inside BI-IP planning modules and FOX logic configurations, rather than just general BW extraction backgrounds.
