Job Description

Responsibilities:
Market Insights and Strategy:
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, potential clients, and competitive dynamics within the investment banking sector.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to enter new markets, expand the client base, and achieve growth objectives.
Client Acquisition and Engagement:
- Lead the identification and pursuit of new business prospects through proactive outreach, networking, and leveraging industry connections.
- Engage senior executives, institutional investors, and decision-makers to present the range of investment banking services the company offers.
Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and nurture strong, enduring relationships with both existing and potential clients, understanding their unique needs and aligning solutions accordingly.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, addressing inquiries, concerns, and fostering long-term partnerships.

- Revenue Generation:
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to meet revenue targets and enhance the organization's profitability.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including research and advisory, to tailor solutions that address client requirements.
Deal Structuring and Negotiation:
- Collaborate cross-functionally to structure and negotiate intricate investment banking transactions, such as mergers, acquisitions, capital raising, and advisory services.
- Ensure all deals adhere to regulatory and legal standards.
Industry Insights:
- Stay attuned to industry developments, market trends, and regulatory shifts that could impact the investment banking landscape.
- Utilize insights to offer strategic recommendations for refining the company's service offerings.
Collaboration:
- Coordinate seamlessly with internal teams to ensure the flawless execution of client engagements.

Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare and deliver regular reports and presentations detailing business development progress, client interactions, and performance against goals.
- Utilize data-driven insights to evaluate strategy effectiveness and drive informed decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline. MBA or CA or equivalent qualification preferred.
Skills and traits:
- Substantial experience of 8+ years in roles focused on business development, preferably within the investment banking domain.
- Demonstrated track record of successfully propelling business growth, achieving sales targets, and fostering enduring client relationships in Investment Banking Domain.
- Comprehensive understanding of financial products, industry trends, and regulatory frameworks.
- Outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Office, and other relevant software applications.
