About the Role

As a Junior System Administrator, you will support and maintain hardware, software, and network infrastructure across macOS, Windows, and Linux environments. You will troubleshoot system issues, perform regular maintenance, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations. This hands-on role requires strong technical problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with teams to maintain secure, stable, and up-to-date systems.

What you will be doing:

Hardware Management

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware issues for laptops and desktops.
• Replace or repair faulty hardware components efficiently.
• Perform hardware installations, upgrades, and initial setups.

Operating Systems & Applications

• Install and configure operating systems, including Windows, Linux, and macOS.
• Troubleshoot OS-related issues to minimize downtime.
• Install, update, and manage software applications and packages across platforms.

Network and Wi-Fi Support

• Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues, ensuring reliable connectivity.
• Diagnose and manage Wi-Fi performance and interference problems effectively.

Asset and Inventory Management

• Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets, including hardware and software licenses.
• Track asset lifecycle and ensure proper documentation.

What we expect from you:

• Proven experience in hardware diagnostics, repair, and setup.
• Proficient in OS installation and troubleshooting (Windows, Linux, macOS).
• Hands-on experience with networking and Wi-Fi troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of application and package installation on Windows and Linux systems.
• Strong organizational skills for inventory management.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for end-user support

Good to have

• Relevant certifications (CompTIA Network+, CCNA, MCSA, etc.).
• Experience with helpdesk/ticketing platforms.
