Manager - Health Safety & Environment

Role & responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

• Develop and implement a national EHS strategy aligned with organizational goals.
• Lead EHS audits, risk assessments, and compliance programs across all locations.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to integrate safety into business planning and operations.

Operational Oversight

• Monitor and enforce compliance with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and other applicable standards.
• 
  Oversee incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Manage emergency preparedness plans including fire safety, evacuation drills, and disaster recovery protocols.

Team & Stakeholder Management

• Lead and mentor regional EHS officers and site safety managers.
• Liaise with government bodies, clients, and vendors on EHS matters.
• Conduct regular training and awareness programs for employees and contractors.

Reporting & Documentation

• Maintain accurate records of inspections, incidents, and compliance reports.

  Present monthly dashboards to executive leadership on EHS KPIs.
• Ensure timely submission of statutory reports to regulatory authorities.

Preferred candidate profile

Industry Exposure: IT, Data Centers, System Integration, or Infrastructure Projects.

Certifications: NEBOSH International General Certificate, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor, Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety (ADIS) , Certified Safety Professional (CSP)

Technical Skills: Risk assessment, incident investigation, EHS software tools, audit protocols
