Purpose of The Role
To ensure the safety and compliance of all electrical systems and operations within JWC by implementing and managing robust electrical safety programs, conducting thorough inspections and audits, providing comprehensive training, maintaining adherence to relevant standards (IS/IEC), and supporting efficient electrical operations through SAP- Maintenance module , ultimately minimizing electrical risks, and ensuring a safe working environment.
Key Objectives

• Minimize Electrical Risks: Reduce the frequency and severity of electrical incidents and accidents within JWC.
• Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Maintain full compliance with all applicable national and international electrical safety standards and regulations (IS/IEC).
• Enhance Staff Competency: Improve the electrical safety knowledge and skills of all JWC employees through effective training programs.
• Optimize Electrical Operations: Support efficient electrical operations and maintenance through effective utilization of SAP.
• Maintain Equipment Integrity: Ensure all electrical safety equipment and protective devices are in optimal working condition.
  

Scope of Delivery

• Inspections and Audits: Regular inspections and audits of electrical systems, equipment, and installations.
• Incident Investigation: Thorough investigation and reporting of electrical incidents and accidents.
• Electrical Safety Programs: Development, implementation, and maintenance of comprehensive electrical safety programs.
• Training and Development: Planning, delivery, and evaluation of electrical safety training programs.
• Standards and Compliance: Ensuring adherence to IS/IEC standards and other relevant regulations.
• SAP Support: Providing operational support for electrical maintenance and safety procedures within SAP.
  
• Documentation: Maintaining accurate and up to date documentation of electrical systems, inspections, training, and incidents.
  

Job Accountabilities
Electrical Safety Management:

• Conduct regular inspections and audits of electrical systems and equipment.
• Investigate electrical incidents and accidents, providing corrective actions and reports.
• Maintain and monitor electrical safety equipment and protective devices.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations and standards.
  

Training & Development

• Plan, develop, and conduct electrical safety training programs for all staff.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and update materials as needed.
  

Standards & Compliance

• Ensure all electrical installations and systems adhere to relevant IS/IEC standards.
• Stay updated on changes in electrical codes and regulations.
• Ensure electrical designs and modifications comply with applicable standards.

Get Hired

• Support electrical operations using SAP, including tracking, and maintaining data.
• Assist in implementing SAP-based processes for electrical maintenance and safety.
• Maintain inventory and operational data within SAP.
  

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in electrical engineering
• Additional certifications in electrical safety, such as NEBOSH or OSHA, preferred.
  

Skills

• In-depth knowledge of IS/IEC standards and electrical safety regulations.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, installations, and equipment.
• Familiarity with SAP operations, particularly in asset management and maintenance tracking.
• Good organizational, communication, interpersonal and team skills.
• Ability to deal with the Government Offices and other related offices, any other stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical mind with good attention to detail.
  

Experience

• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on electrical safety, training, and SAP operations.
• Extensive knowledge of engineering operations in Hospitality, Malls, Airports, etc. will be preferred.
