US Business Tax Reviewer

Job Summary: We are hiring a US Business Tax Reviewer with 3-5 years of relevant experience in US Business Taxation, specifically in reviewing Form 1065 (Partnership Tax Returns) and Form 1120S (S Corporation Tax Returns). The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of US taxation and hands-on experience in reviewing business tax returns.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Review US business tax returns, primarily Form 1065 and Form 1120S.
2. Ensure accuracy and compliance with US federal and applicable state tax regulations.
3. Review tax returns prepared by junior team members and provide feedback.
4. Analyze financial statements, trial balances, general ledgers, and supporting documentation.
5. Review Schedule K-1, book to tax adjustments, and tax reconciliations.
6. Identify discrepancies, potential tax issues, and compliance risks.
7. Ensure timely completion of tax returns while maintaining quality standards.
8. Coordinate with internal teams to resolve tax-related queries.

Required Skills & Experience:

1. 3-5 years of relevant experience in US Business Taxation.
2. Mandatory reviewing experience in both Form 1065 and Form 1120S.
3. Strong understanding of US partnership and S Corporation taxation.
4. Experience in tax return preparation and review.
5. Knowledge of Schedule K-1, tax adjustments, and financial reconciliations.
6. Familiarity with US tax software such as CCH Axcess, GoSystem, UltraTax, or Lacerte is an advantage.
7. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Qualification Requirements: Candidates will be evaluated primarily on their relevant US Business Tax reviewing experience and technical knowledge.

Mandatory Screening Criteria:

1. 3-5 years of relevant US Business Tax experience.
2. Hands-on reviewing experience, not preparation-only experience.
3. Strong working knowledge of both Form 1065 and Form 1120S.
4. Willingness to work from the Coimbatore office.
